Eric is a fantastic teacher!!! He clearly enjoys kids, is a great communicator, and is very patient and flexible. My 8 year old son, who is on the autism spectrum, is really enjoying his beginner guitar lessons with Eric, who is terrific with him. I can't recommend him enough!

Eric is a great teacher. My daughter and I both take lessons from him. He has a passion for music that is infectious and inspiring. He has a distinct teaching style that is fun and challenging. I have taken lessons at several different places but never saw the increase in skill and enjoy-ability that I've gotten in the past year of lessons with Eric. Highly recommend to beginners or those looking to take their skills to the next level.

I've been working with Eric for over a year now and I can't recommend him enough. Whether you are looking to play guitar recreationally or professionally Eric is the person you want to help hone your skills. As someone who has tried to teach myself and failed I can say that after working with Eric not only do I understand music itself astronomically better but I also am able to produce music on a creative level that would have taken years to achieve without Eric. Lastly, to anyone who is on edge of whether they need a teacher or not, the answer is YES, absolutely and you won't find anyone better than Eric.

I have been taking lessons with Eric for almost three years and I would highly recommend him to anyone thinking about taking any kind of music lessons. I initially started with blues guitar lessons because I wanted to be able to play my favorite songs or maybe impress girls. Over the years Eric got me interested in so much more.
I learned music theory, jazz standards, improvisation, finger-style techniques, how to play and sing at the same time, and how to write and record my own songs. He inspired me to take on piano as a second instrument.

Awesome Music Teacher!!
I have been taking Guitar and Ukulele lessons from Eric for over a year and a half and couldn't be happier! I am an adult student with a very busy and at times hectic life. I started taking guitar lessons with Eric as a way to relax and learn music which I love. I received a set of lessons as a birthday gift, I have truly enjoyed the lessons and Eric's teaching style ever since.
Eric has a calm demeanor and is very knowledgeable in his craft. He is patient beyond his years and is very focused and in tuned with his students. I find myself getting better with every practice and lesson due to Eric's teaching ability. He knows how to motivate and bring out the hidden talents in his students, which is extremely impressive.
Eric teaches in a comfortable and non-threatening environment. He is calm, confident and patient with his students. He understands that each student is an individual and makes the needed adjustments that benefit that student. It's obvious that Eric loves what he does and it shows in his teaching and attitude. He is upbeat and positive which makes learning from him very easy.
I have spent most of my adult life as a trainer/instructor. Eric is a great example of a teacher who knows what he is doing and cares about the progress of the student. Eric is the ideal teacher if you are interested in learning and appreciate music.
